Just a little update. I've been checking the meter and it's not been changing so I have them another call. Today I have been told its communicating but the reading isn't changing so they have scheduled me a new gas meter to be fitted which isn't until near the end of January.
I was told that they will use an estimated usage to bill me. Is this correct as to me that doesn't seem fair. If they can take a reading of the meter when it's removed I would happily pay that but I don't want to pay an estimate

They should be able to extract the data from the old meter.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
