Morning all, brrrr it's cold this morning still only 2 degrees. The gritters were about at 10pm last night and we've had a heavy frost, all the cars were sparkling.I finished my last card yesterday and put a clothes wash through the wm so today I have stripped the bed and put the bedding in the wm. I don't think it will have a chance of drying outside even though the sun is shining, it's much too cold, so indoor drying again it is then. Today I will clean our bedroom, put the crafting stuff away and clean that room too. I'm glad the sun is out as it always seems to make me feel energetic, shame it doesn't happen very often because then I could move mountainsTea tonight will be a couple of corned beef pie portions from the freezer, himself will have chips and I'll just have veg and gravy with mine, I found a tub of leftover cauliflower cheese and peas mix in the freezer so that will do for me.The firebreak didn't do any good in our borough and we may be in another one very soon. It seems that the secondary schools are being hit badly. SIL's school has year 7 self isolating and another school has 3 different years out. Trouble is some children think they don't have it, then go out and about into the community while they're supposed to be at home isolating and later find that they do have it and by that time it's too late and have passed it on
Sorry that turned into a rant.
Hope everyone can have a good day and pain / worry free, especially Ruby, Bella and Dumpling. Hugs to all and Sparkle, it's no fun having an itch that won't go away.Take care all, stay safe and keep well. Hugs to all.nan xxSorry forgot to say good luck to Gers for tomorrow, hope all goes well.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
Morning all! Sunny as a shiny shiny thing this morning, thick frost on everything stil though, I asked the OH to put a brick on last night so I've already coaxed the fire back to life. One thing about kiln dried wood, it burns really really hot, it's easy to overheat the room. Betterlearn how to handle it or we're going to roast whenever it's lit. I will need to venture into the back of the garden to get some more kindling for when we don't keep it in overnight.Went shopping yesterday and took the car for a quick run at the same time, spent a lot a lot of money, but I've bought Christmas goodies, ok, mostly booze, so we won't be doing that for a while. I think I had four packs sausages by the time I left. I was looking at sausagemeat to make sausage rolls with, but when I compared the price of that with the price of their bestest sausages on offer, the on offer were much cheaper so I got a big pack of those instead. Mix them with a bit of black pudding and some nigella seeds and itll be lovely. Which segues me neatly into supper tonight is going to be a breakfast and I'll make something in the slow cooker for tomorrow.Bella, hope you have some good news about your mother today. Dumpling, take care and be vigilant! Ruby, yes, forgot about how much of a pain the tubing is, I kept getting ti caught on things. I did spend a lot fo time watching the tubes though, I found it fascinating watching it all get sucked out. Relax, be at one with your sofa....:) Nanny, moving mountains made me laugh! Not because you couldn't [never doubt a nanny], I can imagine you rearranging the topography of your village on a whim
TA, poor sparkle, but you're on the case! Hey all reading along, hope you're good, thanks for Thirsday....

taff living half way up one I'd like to flatten it a bit so I could have a non sloping garden, it would be much easier to mow. Either that or one leg much shorter than the otherBTW I now know where to come should I be in need of a tipple over XmasnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9
