NCP ticket Manchester Sackville Street - paid for wrong car park (council not private)

Hi all! 
Briefly - I paid for the wrong car park. Didn't realise, so appealed it and they came back with that answer; I also told them that I was driving (didn't know this forum existed... mistake!) After doing some research, I think that the only grounds I have are that the paybyphone app is unclear in where you're paying for - even the car park I was in is listed under several different numbers. I think I let it do it automatically using my location (must have... despite my memory of typing in the number on the sign right in front of my car. Been back since and it's different). The car park entrance is on Bloom St so I thought it was for there, but in fact it's registered on Sackville Street (and there are obvious signs on entry that it's Sackville). 

So - do you think I have a case and should I bother with the POPLA appeal? Or accept that I need to pay NCP £100?

Thanks for all your help. I realise there are missing details but its because I don't think there are any other ground on which I could appeal!

No-one pays and NCP rarely sue.  Try POPLA - the NEWBIES thread tells you how in the 3rd post.
