Why not just send them the pay slips, then you can have an £800 credit limit? If you are looking to build a healthy credit record that is more than enough, any more than that and it would appear that you were seeking to rack up debt again.MoneyMan98 said:Oh Sure.. 100% I was just hoping for a higher limit to make a bit more of an impact with balances/ utilisation etcI would be more than happy with £200 limit, I 100% don't want more than 800

Don't they usually say they'll close it if you don't send proof of income within 45 days? I had similar on platinum card. Given £200 limit but raised to £3500 if I uploaded payslips.Mine quite clearly said if I didn't upload the payslips or statements they'd close it in 45 days.I did it and my limit was updated within a day. To the limit they could "unlock" - £3500.0

I don’t think Barclays the bank and Barclaycard act together as you would think do they?
Your account closing could be anything but usually a fraud marker or something has triggered. The should send you a letter.
or perhaps something on your credit files spooked them0 -
What makes you think they've closed the account? What did they say or do?0
