I am looking for a green energy IT/Fund, ideally in £ and acc.
I like the look for INRG but it's in $ and dist...
Can anyone point me to a large global green erergy fund either £/acc or $/acc.

INRG is traded in GBP on the LSE. Most green energy investments are not UK companies so its somewhat irrelevant what the fund chooses as a base currency, but USD seems the most sensible.

What Ed said. e.g. what difference does it make what currency its in if most of the underlying investments are in USD anyway? (and no doubt a bit of Remnimbi for some Chinese PV suppliers and some Danish Krone for Orsted perhaps?)FWIW I hold it in £ on HL and if I try to buy or sell (literally just tried it) i get quoted in £ not $ but the underlying US version will be quoted in $ and there's obviously a conversion going on.But if there wasn't, there's still a conversion going on unless you plan to only buy with $ and when you sell get the $ and spend them in a USD currency environment. Because otherwise the money you used to buy will come from £ and go back to £ when you sell.I hold Apple and Tesla and they are quoted in $ and it wouldnt change things if they were quoted in £ its just the conversion woudl be happening elsewhere.I also hold TRIG which is a UK wind and solar operator which is in £ and all its assets are in the UK and therefore £ but its a very different sort of fund to TRIG.0

In roughly the same area as INRG are VT Gravis Clean Energy Income and Ninety One Global Environment. Similar but not the same. The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.0

My thoughts were INRG pay a (small) dividend, and I wanted to avoid reducing it in currency conversion, so thought it would be more efficient to use an accumulator or at least reduce the number of times it switched currencies. I saw on the fact sheet it is operated in Dollars, but after checking after seeing Ed's comment above, I see if I buy in Interactive Investor it is in £..
I will do some reading on the other companies mentioned above.
As always, many thanks for the input0 -

Hmm, seems i was very much mistaken, i thought it was principally UK assets, some time since i bought it so either i forgot orw as wrong to start with.Makes no odds to me as it happens but good to know, thanks.0 -

Watch them plummet..
Thanks for all the input3 -
INRG share price has dropped a little bit over the past 3 days so I bought in today. Did have a look at VT Gravis Clean Energy and Ninety One Environment but decided to go with INRG.0
