Morning, 
Just wondering has anyone yet been contacted by HMRC inviting them to apply for grant?
According to the info. I can see, can apply after 30th November , but HMRC will email or write advising date/time up to 4th December

No, because applications are not open yet.

HMRC will contact people who they believe are eligible, people will be able to apply online once the portal goes live, which is provisionally on 30/11. The claim window is not one day, so there will be plenty of time to apply over December.

The eligibility criteria have changed. They've gone into a lot more detail than before. You now have to confirm that you reasonably believe that you will suffer a significant reduction in income due to covid.

I have had a Gov email this morning saying their getting ready and asking me to check if i'm eligible - i've had an email each time, asking me to check, so i expect those that have/will been claiming will recieve the same soon.
