Hi,
Booked my holiday in January before all this hit; it's flights only.
I'm in a tier 3 area and Glasgow Airport is in a tier 4.  Scottish government guidance says not to travel between tiers for anything non essential (and notes that going on holiday isn't a reasonable excuse).  It specifically says 'By Law' you shouldn't travel outside your region.
I contacted Jet2 as I have a holiday booked and they have offered to move it, which is fine but unfortunately i lose my discount.  Ideally, i would like to cancel and get a refund but this relaly doesn't seem possible.  How is it Jet2 are still operating flights when the Scottish Government have said no travel?  Ideally I want Jet2 to cancel the flights but i know that won't happen, i just don't understand why they are still operating.
thanks in advance.

People use airlines for other things than just holidays trips.

People from Level 1 & 2 Areas in Scotland are allowed to travel to an Airport in a Level 3 or 4 Area - ie Edinburgh or Glasgow in order to go on Holiday.

But level 3 and 4 are not. The OP  is in level 3

People who live in a Level 3 or 4 local authority area in Scotland are now required to stay in that area unless they have a reasonable excuse to travel, such as work, education, or welfare reasons – see travelling around Scotland.

Going on holiday, including abroad, is not a reasonable excuse to leave a level 3 or 4 area. If it has been announced that your local authority area is about to move into either Level 3 or 4 please do not then travel overseas for non-essential reasons such as a holiday. Those who are already overseas can continue with their holiday or travel as planned.

Indeed I am aware of the above.
The OP obviously didn't realise the differences between the different levels in Scotland in terms of Airport access.
It's not a blanket ban as they were suggesting.
