they are likely different because they are all quoting for a different job. unless you showed all 3 tradesman the job at the exact same time and gave them all a spec to work to? no didn't think so0

quote 3 is probably from a cowboy builder. it is too low for the works quoted. quote 1 and quote 2 are nearer one another. if the guy who gave you quote 2 seemed honest enough when he came round, then this would be the guy i would go with as he is more precise and so less likely to over budget and ask for more money. also he states clearly all the work that will be included in the 6k.0

I wouldn't accept quote 3. Any decent tradesman would want to supply their own brushes at the very least. They know which are the quality products. I agree that quote 2 is the most comprehensive, but if the person who provided quote 1 is willing to flesh it out to a fully detailed quote I wouldn't discount them at this point.0

People who go back to edit or delete their posts after finding the answer should be banned
Or MSE introduce a ‘time out’ period of after 5mins you can’t then make changes to your post

I don't know which post you are referring to but I totally agree. Many other sites have similar constraints. If somebody has made an error in the original post they should post anew with the updated information.DevilDamo said:People who go back to edit or delete their posts after finding the answer should be banned

Thank you can for the ppl that did help0 -
There was nothing at all identifiable in the info that was there. It read like any other conversation about bathroom
quotes.
Imagine if the entire forum was full of deleted posts! When you ask for help, you help others by leaving them a trail if they have a similar quandry.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
