Integrated Fridge/Freezer and different splits

Hi everyone,
We are shortly moving into a new place and I had a plan on upgrading all the integrated Bosch Appliances (mid-range) to their top end counterparts.
This is all easy with the dishwasher, however I cannot quite get my head around the fridge.
We currently have a Bosch KIV38X22GB 70/30 integrated split fridge installed. This has a particularly small freezer compartment and all of the top-spec Bosch/Siemens/Neff appliances are more of a 60/40 split. For instance, if I fitted the Bosch KIF86PFEO (https://www.bosch-home.co.uk/product-list/fridges-freezers/fridge-freezers/built-in-fridge-freezers-freezer-at-bottom/KIF86PFE0)
The top of the freezer would be several cms too high for the current exterior doors.

However, when looking at the cabinet, there are 2 ledges and the current fridge sits on the top of them. It seems that if I would be able to remove the top ledge and fit the lodge onto the bottom ledge, then the measuresments should fit in. I am just not sure if you can remove the ledge that it is currently on, I haven't removed the fridge but there are no obvious screws holding the ledge in and this top shelf also has a hole in it for cables to come down.

There is adquete ventilation from the kickboards to not need the ledge for this purpose from what I can see.
I have attached some photos but any advice would be really appreciated!

Does that make sense to anyone?
