This is what I posted on another thread, albeit for a different PPC. It doesn't change for your case. To go to the wall over £20 and risk a potential bill 10x that amount, never stacked up for me, even when I was doing 11+ sums!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ok thanks all. Look, i'll pay the £20, its hardly a bankrupting amount. The main point is the principle and not to allow injustices to happen. If in their own code of practice they say that minor errors can happen with key input, then they should stick to it. But sure, whats the point eh?0

Which is why you pay it on the proviso that Tito proves it was a minor keying error or you will report him to the BPA. And do so, because if it turns out to be minor, they can lean on him to refund it.
We have seen another BPA member trying this trick last week. Hence why we are suspicious.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
