Is it reasonable that my previous agent ask me pay more for a missing item after 2 months?

Hi,
I had left the flat in September and my agent had return me the deposit in October, so there is no connection with letting agent anymore.
However, I want to ask, will the letting agent ask me to pay for a missing item after they discover the item is missing?
Thank you, I am very new to letting in UK.

It depends on the item but if your deposit has been returned I doubt it, as the deposit being returned would normally mean everything is finished as far as the agent is concerned.May you find your sister soon Helli.
