I’m going through the same process albeit I have been bullied out of a job I loved.  Treat it as a new beginning, you can work for yourself if there’s anything you could do or have ever wanted to learn to do.  Get your CV up to scratch and send it anywhere you’ve always wanted to work. I've found Indeed to be the best job hunting website but there’s always LinkedIn, the DWP website links to current vacancies, an NHS website and even google if you search 'jobs near me'. Good luck.

    Happy moneysaving all.

My advice  is not to leave before you are pushed. So don't apply for/accept any jobs outside your current employer unless it is to good to turn down. Have you had all the paperwork, figures yet?

Thanks for your advice. I was offered, by the company, and accepted a similar role, bit more responsibility, with a trial period until the end of Jan and could still take redundancy.
I have had the figures for the redundancy pay and they were as I expected.
I am going to take some time to think this over as well as look at what is on offer out there as this has been a wakeup call.
My CV is up to date and I have lots of contacts in my industry to talk with.
I know I am very very lucky to still be in employ.
Good luck to every on in a similar position.

Remember if your employer becomes insolvent. Your statutory redundancy entitlements are guaranteed to be paid.   There's no need to make a hasty decision. Use the time to plan the future and take control of the situation.
