Indesit UK - Complaint help

Hi. I'm looking for some advice on how to escalate a complaint I've made to Indesit UK. In brief we have bought a brand new Indesit oven/grill (August 20). On first use & ever since the grill switches off mid-use for up to 10 minutes at a time. We've complained, had an engineer out and have now raised a formal complaint. Indesit tell me the grill is 'working to specification' and this is an energy saving feature but can not provide me with any written evidence to prove this other than 'the engineer told you'. I would like a full refund but they are refusing to take my complaint any further. I have submitted a credit card dispute and am awaiting a response on that. Are there any other avenues that I can go down as I truly believe they have sold us an item that is not fit for purpose. If anyone can assist I'd be really grateful.
