I bought one of those doorbell cameras, from a company called Eufy, they owned by AnkerDirect. The door bell is rubbish, but at the same time I also got 3 internal cameras, which I’ve unopened and trying to return, they have a 30 return policy which I’m well within, having rang them to sort returning, they told me to email the, they would send details of return address, which upon receipt of return I get my refund, when this morning I got the return address, In Canada, it will cost a fortune to send to Canada, let alone the time it will take for to get my refund. It certainly didn’t arrive from Canada, as it arrived next day delivery. Any help on this would be appreciated.

There's an 01604 number on https://www.eufylife.com/uk/contact - which connects to Northampton. There's another address on the same page in Birmingham. You might do better to make contact, explain the situation and ask if you can send it to the Birmingham address - looking on Google Maps it's a big office block, so it may only be admin but worth a shot.

I just bought a Eufy door bell (the battery one) as it was cheap and I'm quite pleased with it.
Two moans
- the doorbell mount is pretty flimsy, it'd be quite easy to rip it off the door.
- 120 days battery life? - they're 'aving a laugh! I reckon 30 days.
Good things
- excellent video quality
- No cloud storage plan needed, video is stored on a SD card in the 'Chime'.

we have the wired doorbell, as there was a plug socket near by, no just easier that way, and no messing with batteries running low.Our problem is lack of picking up anything at all, we get milk delivered everyday, so far it’s not picked up the milkman once, same with the postie. We don’t live on a road, so we don’t get passing traffic or people in general unless they coming to our house. So we’ve sent to to high settings, and still it’s not picking up. Then randomly it will pick me up locking the door, but not unlocking,
yrs the camera is a fabulous picture but that were it ends for us, so far Eufy have no help for us on why.

Eufy seem to offer a more joined up proposition, and generally have good product feedback. One concern of mine is lack of IFTT support.
Arlo seems an obvious choice, for me, but I had issues with water ingress on their cameras.

what was wrong with the eufy doorbell? I have 2 and think they are brilliant.
only problem is the lack of security, anyone with a SIM card tool can just pop it off. and even if they didn't have the tool they could just be prised off. I'm hoping eufy or another company develops a secure mounting bracket for them soon, I have made a simple cover for mine using a 25mm plastic 2gang patress, but all it does is stop someone with a sim card tool removing it0 -
