I have a week away booked over Xmas in Spain. Now you have to pay£120 for a test before we go. There's 4 of us totalling 480.we can't afford that but if we cancel our holiday because of this we lose all our money. If the travel company cancel we get a refund or option to move to another date. What can we do???

If the travel company cancel, yes, you get a refund.
If you cancel you don't.
If you really cannot afford to pay for a test, then you'll have to just hope that they cancel, but you won't be able to travel if they don't.1 -
Sadly your options are very limited.Your best hope is that they cancel because if they don’t (and travel is allowed again from 2nd December) and you don’t pay for the tests which is now a part of the conditions for travel then you will lose out. I absolutely appreciate this isn’t particularly fair but travel requirements change and passengers have to comply with them to be able to travel.0
