The assessor assured me she wouldn't do that. She said they would mark my file that I attended but couldn't complete the interview due to conflicting information....Are they really so dishonest?0

That's entirely your decision whether you choose to trust them. Personally, i've never had a problem with any assessor but the stories i've read, i wouldn't trust them for this because if they send your file back to DWP your PIP will stop. A simple phone call to DWP to tell them what's happened just incase the worst happens.
