Good morning everyone
So good to hear from you Ruby, hope the painkillers do their job and you feel more comfortable x
Apart from the lack of sleep, I feel much much better today. I even managed to finish knitting the crown hat and have sewn it up and all I have to do is add the jewels and it will be done. Once I have finished my various little knitting projects, I will pack up my knitting for the Christmas period and store it upstairs as I need to space for Christmas decorations.
I must remember to ask Steve to get something out for dinner tonight. I am sure we have chicken breasts or smoked haddock stashed away in the freezer. I fancy a kedgeree so I think the haddock will be used today. Lee did a lovely spaggy bol yesterday and it was good for Steve to have a break. Phoebe has offered to clean the bathroom and toilet upstairs today so that will be brilliant.
I still have cards to make, it will be Lee's 18th birthday on the 4th December and it will be mine and Steve's 21st wedding anniversary on the 1st December. I need to crack on with them this afternoon if I am still awake. Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx

Afternoon everybody,
Ruby......wonderful to hear from you.....keep taking the medication to keep you out of pain as much as possible, rest and sleep as your recovery will be easier on you.....you are officially on sick leave for the foreseeable future, then gradually get back to normal. Love and prayers for you.
Took OH for his warfarin test this morning......he was ages and is usually just a couple of minutes......they couldn't get any blood from one arm, eventually got some on a second try.......seemed very high so waiting for a call to clarify.
Cold here today, overcast and windy, feeling very sore from haemoroids, slept badly, meds are taking a while to work, hopefully the appointment moved to 30th will take place and the problem can be sorted ASAP.......I am fed up of not feeling well.
Best wishes to Dumpling and Topsy, stay safe everybody

Afternoon all, I'm a bit late today but I do have an excuse, we've been to Dad's replacing his doorbell. When the new one was ready I was the one on my hands and knees playing the melodies. We went around all 38 of them three times before he chose number 3, Westminster chimes ! We did a few more jobs for him before leaving even though he had upset me almost as soon as I went in the door. I don't think he even knew he'd done it, he was too busy being nice to Mr Fix It
Anyway home again and I've had some "go to" comfort soup for my lunch which has soothed my soul a little, unfortunately it came out of a tin.... sorry MSE 'ers. I have filled the dw and put it on but I don't know what's on the cards for this afternoon, maybe nothing will get done although I have a Xmas card sorted and ready to be put together, so I may do that. Only one more to do then and I'm done with the crafting stuff and it can all be put away tidily.Did some online shopping yesterday and now I'm just waiting for the parcels to arrive, hope they all arrive together, that would be good. I also paid the gas and leccy bills so we won't get cut off over winter
Right enough from the Welsh waffler for today.RedRuby I hope the pain subsides soon.Dumpling glad to see that your family talk has reaped rewards and well done to your girls for helping out.Take care all, stay safe and it won't be long till you're all allowed off the bench

Afternoon everyone
Met a friend for a short walk in the forest - back to normal now, back to work tomorrow.
Ruby - glad to hear you are home and that your family are looking after you. Hope your meds keep the pain under control and you manage to rest properly.
dumpling - glad the chat worked with your kids. The knitting sounds great especially the crown.
will make up my breakfast, lunch & tea/dinner for whilst I’m at work tomorrow - if I don’t I end up visiting Tesco too often. Tomorrow’s menu overnight oats, soup for lunch & ham/pasta salad for dinner.
hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.11 -
Forgot to say ds2 has still got to put antibiotics in his eye every 2 hours, scratch is approx 2.5mm long. Depending on the depth of the scratch Is whether or not he will have permanent scarring. He has to go back Friday when they should be able to tell.11
