Are they allowed to do this????
We recently completed a Domain Clean Up and found that many clients were not paying for their Website Domain names.
Please be advised that the domain and 2 email accounts are no longer free of charge. It was an old promotion, and part of a deal with our Email Provider, which is no longer available. With the promotion, the domain and 2 email accounts were free for the first year and after that, we will charge a monthly fee of £1.50 + VAT a month for hosting each domain. It will now be £1.50 + vat a month for the Domain and 2 Emails Hosting. This will be added to your monthly billing
That and demanding 30 working days notice before I can cancel my website for a business that is closed down due to the death of my partner.
Thanks in advance...

If those are the terms of the business contract, I'm afraid they can.0

It looks like you need to pay, at most £3+vat (unless they are charging you for the time you didn't pay) Seems reasonable to me.0
