Selling personal details

really mad, just received a letter from Keep Warm offering insulation, called to see where got my details from and they said that it was on a Database purchased from Equifax.:eek:

I looked on their site and I can check my credit rating with them for £XXX, I am sick of people selling my details to companies so that they can bombard me with trash and also work out other things about my life and lifestyle, I think that the time has come to make a stand and charge these companies for selling our personal details to other companies,plus all the post with full details about me which has to be shredded.

madening isnt it, i have 4 bank accounts and two in my maiden name that hopefully will confuse them alittle, but its awful and my national insurance n.os and my childrens and our bank details are also somewhere .... probably under my sofa.. most things are, expect police will think of that eventually.
