Thanks for your comments. No doubt they did give me my prescription when I bought the glasses, but it seems to have disappeared. I wanted to buy replacements online, which are nearly a quarter of the price, same lens, same frames. But this optician also said they would put my old lenses back which makes a mockery of their statement that the prescription is too old. I will get a new eye test, seems the quickest option!
