I had a phone contract with Vodafone which ended 2 years ago. However they are still reporting as up-to date with the credit reference agencies. Should I leave it be or let them know.

I raised a dispute through the CRA's a while back. Took them a few months to deal with it but they eventually marked it as clsoed.stclair said:I had a phone contract with Vodafone which ended 2 years ago. Unfortunately, others have claimed that they have subsequently started reporting again months or years down the line so it may all be in vain.1 -

They advised that the account had been closed for a number of years and weren't sure why it was appearing as open. I then followed the link on this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5788849/vodafone-appearing-on-credit-report/p1 and filled in a form.A week later, it had changed to a close account on my CreditKarma and then the latest update on Clearscore. Just waiting to see what happens to the credit report i get through the credit club. Not sure whether it was my phone call or the form i filled in that did the trick but it must have been one of them.

Thanks for the info at least I’m not the only one. It just seems an odd thing for them to do.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
