My gas meter was changed in 2009 but It has not been updated on my Bill's
My Gas meter was changed in 2009 and I did not realise until recently that the old gas meter is still on my bill .Not sure now if Bill's have been worked out correctly. I have been in contact with Scottish power about this and just dont seem to be getting very far .I am now on the 2nd time of sending them photos of the meter .I have sent quite a few emails and spoke in chat and on the phone to them .They were aware of this a couple years ago when they fitted smart meter for the Electric. The engineer said he could not do the gas has it was not the correct meter .Anyone else had any issues with this please ?

Do the readings you supply concur with what is on your bill? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0

Were you the consumer back in 2009 ? If the old meter was about to go around the clock then the readings given would be about right and the bills not unexpected. If not then the bills would not have made sense in 2009.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
