Hi, I have a Fineco account which I use to convert foreign currency into GBP and then transfer into my Nationwide account. After Brexit, does anyone know if my charges will increase across these transactions please? Fineco exchange rate charge currently very low but ,as it is an Italian Bank, I wonder if they will have more fees to pay once we are out of the union.
I also have an Italy based Fineco bank account and it would be a shame to lose this account because of Brexit. However unless someone has a magic crystal ball no one can accurately predict what will happen to such bank accounts on/after 1st January 2021. I guess it largely depends on whether Britain leaves the EU with or without a deal. Maybe ask Boris?
