bellabella said:someone thought it was ok to come in the front garden with a head torch on to go through the skip we have think they were disappointed as it was building rubble and a few bits of old tat from the loft and a bed frame still it made for an interesting night/morning.13

Morning all. It is still morning isn't it? Oh goodness yes. Nearly coffee time in fact.
No plans for today as it is the Day of Rest, as opposed to the Monday Day of Rest, Tuesday Day of Rest and so on....
WL, I am indeed proud of you. Should you ever run out of excuses, I have a whole raft of ready-made ones. You only have to ask. I'm thinking of starting a new thread, 'A Slob Gets Slobbier'
Ruby, I hope that today will be slightly easier. If the pain does not subside please don't be brave. Shout and scream for more pain relief. Just because you are at home and not in hospital doesn't mean that you should have to put up with it.
I am going to turn some cold chicken into a chicken pie today. As I'm going to be making pastry I might knock up an apple pie and some jam tarts as well. That's the mse bit taken care of.
Happy Stir Up Sunday everyone.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Now Monna don't tax yourself too much after cooking by eating said pies as well, you'll let the sloth side down...... the tea trolley always has room for moreFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

Hi everyone
Nice sunny day here and the wind has dropped. Little one stayed last night - she was asleep before 7 last night till quarter to 8 this morning - so I got a lovely lie in.
She went home with her mummy this morning and I went down to mam and dads - a lot of 'jobs' to do online this morning, including going through all the insurance policies they have for various appliances - they're paying out an awful lot each month. Left mam with instructions to ring the company tomorrow. I've got a couple of jobs to do, then planning a lazy afternoon.
Last night at teatime I said to little one ....you've got fish, potato, carrots and trees. She picked up a piece of broccoli, looked at me and slowly said broccoli.....as if to say, silly woman it's called broccoli.....
She called broccoli trees last week!
Well hope everyone has a good day11 -
Nelski, my phone has a torch function, that could be handy in case it ever happens again.
I've made my samosa filling, the pastry next.
I always make to much, could bring some to the bench.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back8
