House sale completion date and going into rented with poor credit

Just please make sure you have a rental place sorted before you exchange on the sale.
Honestly I think it is going to be difficult to find one if you are unemployed, even offering 6-12 months rent up front. Sounds like you're in a very difficult situation. I wouldn't hold onto the hope of a council property, the wait is so long and you aren't going to get priority, having chosen to sell your property.
Also to the person suggesting benefits as a lifestyle choice over working because benefits pay you more ... you break my heart. Please stop.1 -
yes, benefits is no way to live. it is only as a last resort and should be short term if possible.ChloeManoey said:Just please make sure you have a rental place sorted before you exchange on the sale.

I know from experience that benefits isn't an ideal way to live. i'm trying to get out of this hole, but it's very difficult. My mortgage company has given me a long payment break and advised me to take action sooner or later before repossession looms. I've also had problems with ASB neighbours. I hate this house and realise it's a roof over my head, but my mental health has suffered. There aren't many choices available and yes council said the chances of me being re housed are non existent unless I'm actually homeless.AskAsk said:
