Morning
topsy I'm glad you're home, I hope you feel OK this morning xx
Gggrrr bella I'm angry on your behalf. Hope you're not too shaken up xx
Thank you Nels I'll keep popping in to check for updates.
A bit of a lazy day for me. Mr tru has taken Scamp to work for the day, I don't think it's a good idea but what do I know? *rolls eyes*
I started making a Christmas centrepiece yesterday with an old wreath frame. I keep taking bits off and adding them again – I'm not really sure how I want it to look, lol. Maybe I'll make some progress today.

Thank you, Nelski. Topsy, I'm glad your procedure went well.
Yesterday was a quiet day, today will be the same so I won't bore you with it.15 -
Thanks for the update on Ruby. After a huge operation like that, its no wonder she is in pain. I hope they have given her something to help with it.
Not much going on here. A quick trip to the Village Shop and a settle down with the paper and some knitting. Boring, but nice.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Send love.Shopping done and put away although it's mostly cake for the crossworders so that's all out on the kitchen table. DW emptied, DM fed and watered so I've a few minutes to relax.12

Morning folks and thanks BELLA. I popped on early doors to see if any news, not really expecting an update so early. Been in town on the early bus and just back in time for NELS' bulletin. Poor RUBY it was a long op so no wonder it has taken its toll on her. I hope she manages some sleep through the day but hospitals are not really conducive to good sleeps are they.
I didn't really want anything in town, just felt the need to get out of the house. It was just us 3 old biddies going down and coming back up again as usual! I am just enjoying something I haven't had for years but felt a longing for - a steaming mug of Bovril. I'd forgotten just how nice and comforting it is for a change. One or two other bits went in my bag but nothing remotely exciting - apart from my Strictly bag of sweeties!
My DF who lives in the valley bottom walks her doggie round the fields surrounding the football pitches down there and where they have been doing Covid testing. She said they have been erecting some wooden booths and, on quizzing the workmen, was told they will be used for the vaccinations when they are up and running. It's good to hear they are getting organised in readiness.
Have a good day folks and ((HUGS)) for all in need. Especially our RUBY, hoping TOPSY is feeling better after her minor op and BELLA is getting over the shock of the midnight hooligans. It's a pity they have nothing better to do. Take care one and all and stay safe x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

Morning all.Thank you Nels for the update, you're a star with a heart of gold
Please send my love to Ruby when you contact her next. I'm pleased that it's all over for her, hopefully it went very well and she can now start on the road to recovery.
It's a horrible dark day here and it's raining again. Mr Fix It is having a "not on this planet day", making anything I ask him like pulling teeth to get an answer. I think I'll take myself off upstairs and do some tidying in the dumping ground office as it seems that I have a large collection of carrier bags in there that are taking over and I may have to cull them too. Then I'll tidy the spare bedroom now that the warehouse has been part emptied, ready to attack more card making this afternoon.Tea today will be bacon, sausage, black pudding, egg etc.Topsy I'm glad you're home, now take care and put your feet up. Hugs xNelski Mr Fix It loves black pudding but we buy it from the meat van in 4" diameter sausages about 18" ins long then freeze it sliced. (most of the sm ones are mainly full of bread.) I'm not that fussed but will eat it fried in a sandwich with tomato sauce now and again.Dumpling hope everything works out for you and your girls pull their weight now.Hester Happy Birthday wishes coming your way. Hope you have a lovely day.Right I'm off to do something as himself is huffing and puffingTake care all, stay safe and well. Hugs to all the poorly ones and anyone having a difficult time at present.nan xx.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12
