Lending Stream have upheld my complaint for irresponsible lending. I did pass the complaint over to the FOS several months ago, however L/S have upheld my complaint and I have received a FRL offering settlement which I have accepted.  The problem is that they will not issue a refund because they are saying they need acceptance from the FOS.  I used Resolver for my complaint and was escalated to the FOS through them. Do the FOS have to send and acceptance to L/S? I have not heard of this before.  I have sent a message through Resolver to the case handler at the FOS twice over the last few weeks but I have not had any reply.
Try giving them a call. I went directly to them instead of through resolver. My issue is getting paid by them. Called them on Monday and the guy was like oh you should have been paid on 7th October I’ll escalate to complaints team! Asked how long is wait he’s like you just have to wait

If you escalated the complaint to FOS, then you'll need to wait for them to look at it.  Be aware that may take some months.
Now that I have a way of calling lending stream I’ll just keep ringing them to get an answer
  • I did send a message to them once I had received the FRL from L/S, they said it was up to me if I wanted to accept their offer. I told them I did. Do you think I have to close the case on Resolver to prompt the FOS send and acceptance to L/S ?

  • The FOS were aware of the FRL and told me it was up to me if I accepted, I told them I did. I wonder if I need to close the case on Resolver to prompt the 'acceptance' that L/S are waiting for?

In the PDF letter they send you there is a link which you have to click and it takes you to enter your bank details or confirm them. Then you wait 28 days or in my case nearly 3mths
