Lending stream refund
All,
Back in June I applied for a refund from lending stream and in September they emailed me a pdf letter advising my claim had been accepted and provided me with a refund amount. I was happy with the amount and clicked the link provided and confirmed my account info that they held. They told me in 28 days I would have payment and now it’s nearly double that time plus more and still no refund. I’ve emailed and tried to call but no response. I’ve even contacted the financial ombudsman but they said they aren’t able to help at the moment etc.. can you can advise what to do next? If I was late paying them they would have sent recovery agents after me etc.

You'll just need to be patient.
No one sends recovery agents for a 28 day late payment, especially under current circumstances.0 -

No, as I say, they wouldn't.
You'll just need to give them time.0 -

Lending Stream have upheld my complaint for irresponsible lending. I did pass the complaint over to the FOS several months ago, however L/S have upheld my complaint and I have received a FRL offering settlement which I have accepted. The problem is that they will not issue a refund because they are saying they need acceptance from the FOS. I used Resolver for my complaint and was escalated to the FOS through them. Do the FOS have to send and acceptance to L/S? I have not heard of this before. I have sent a message through Resolver to the case handler at the FOS twice over the last few weeks but I have not had any reply.0

If you escalated the complaint to FOS, then you'll need to wait for them to look at it. Be aware that may take some months.1
