    zavvi have dispatched mine today £30 delivered on their site it says depatch time 24hrs so guessing there are in stock there!

    You can buy recharging stations as recommended above , but I personally don't have enough room for those in my house, so I have 2 Wii remotes, and six rechargable NiMH* batteries. If you do go down the battery route, it's worth spending a bit more money (i'm really not getting this money saving lark am I?) on batteries with a higher rating because they last longer between charges. I use AA batteries with a rating of "2800mAh" (like the dealxtreme one), but you can get bargain bucket batteries as low as "1200mAh" that won't last anywhere near as long. I could explain about mAh, but I don't really need to.

    Basically - Bigger number = better time in between charges. :D

    The reason I have six rechargeables is so that I always have a spare pair if one of the wii remotes runs out of battery. If they both run out at the same time... well, that's tough ;)


    * NiMH is Nickel Metal Hydride, which is basically a better technology than the traditional NiCD rechargeable battery
