I ordered one from Zavvi. It said 'In Stock' when I ordered it and in my order confirmation.
Now I have been sent an e-mail saying that it is back ordered and will be dispatched when supplies arrive

Suppose it is a bargain though, but very misleading, when it said that it would be dispatched within 24hrs.

That's the right day to do it (Thursday). After talking with loads of stockists in our area, we were told Argos/Game/Gamestation etc. normally has stock coming in on Thursdays throughout the year. In the run up to Christmas we were told the day was changed to Tuesday as stockists had decided it was too late to wait for the normal cargo from ships and decided to pay the premium to fly them in. We got ours on a Tuesday as the Mrs happened to be in the queue at Game to buy the kids a game when the stock came in (console only at 179.99 - not a bundle!). That was the week before Christmas and it was my present so I was well chuffed:j .

So as Christmas has now gone, it seems like Thursday is probably the day to search around for stock for the Wii console.

I have no insider info here - it's just what I've been told by shops so it might be a pack of lies I've been fed!

Good luck in trying to get one though.
