Can I ask a daft question? (sorry i've only just managed to get hold of my wii so i'm all new to this)

I have one controller that came with it. I want another but I've been told to buy a game called wii play as that has one included. I've seen the nunchucks in John Lewis for £15 but am I right in thinking that wont be a controller?

I just want to play two person tennis!

    Update:

I've just reserved myself one of these. http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500000701&langId=-1&productId=1500043563#tab3 is this what I need to get that extra remote please?

Also is it worth buying a game to get the docking station half price?

Many thanks for your help :-)
  • No really daft as it can be confusing.

Wii Play is essentially a game with 9 mini games that are made to help you get to grips with the type of controller. However the games are fairly decent and you do get an extra remote (unless you buy from EBAY where most are just the game). Anyway the extra remote will allow you to play 2 player tennis or you could just buy the remote (or Wiimote as it is called) on it's own for about £30 and quite a few places have these in stock. Let me know if you want to know where they're available and i'll have a look and post the details!

The nunchuk cheap as it's a secondary device for the main remote.

Yes that is exactly what you need - if you've got the money then get what you can for the money. Personally I would like a docking station but haven't got round to getting one yet. However it may be worth checking the game and docking station prices elsewhere as it may seem cheap but it could be cheaper to get it elsewhere. I find asda online the cheapest for games.

  • No probs - my 4 year old loves Wii Sports and having also played Wii Play at a friends, he loves that too which is why i've been desperate to get hold of Wii Play for a few weeks now but i kept missing out - not today though haha

Anyone order a wii play from amazon.de? Just wondered how long they take to deliver as I'm still waiting for one ordered on 10th Jan.
  • Even the English Amazon on standard delivery takes about 5 days usually so i'm guessing that the German one would be a bit longer, maybe Monday is my personal estimate ;)
