I have ordered from Play.com lots of times and have never had any problems, lets hope it's not any different this time.

Thanks everyone, I know we have all probably had bad experiences ordering online but I feel much better knowing that there are people who are happy to recommend them - I'll keep my fingers crossed

just ordered 10 and have confirmation email, hopefully they come through.

should be able to sell a few on ebay, which means the ones i give to my nieces (2) & nephews (2) are freebies or close to it.

I ordered a Toshiba HD DVD player from Play.

Shown as in stock; rang them and confirmed it would be dispatched; got confirmation email.

When it didn't arrive I rang them and was told it was now 'out of stock'.

I had received no notification that it would be delayed.

When I complained I got an email saying it must have 'gone out of stock' just as I ordered.

However the very same item is still showing as in stock on their website.

There is a £5 code you can use if spending over £50 at play (ie two play's), just search...

Selling for a profit on ebay is heartless when we have kids that are dying for them. What can I say? Santa ran out of wiis sorry?
