How long should I give a company to issue a fix?

Hello everyone.
I have a fault with a well known brand of smart speaker (not an Alexa) which I have reported to the manufacturer, it constantly loses it's wi-fi connection (not so smart without that!). They have told me they are aware of a problem and are working on a fix (presumably a software based one). The speaker is covered under the 12 month warranty (or it was when I reported it) but my question is, how long should I wait for them to issue a software fix before I start "throwing my toys out of the pram" and demand they actually do something constructive?
Any help gratefully received and thanks.

Warranty its down to the T&C throwing toys is pointless as you have no right to demand .Consumer Rights against the vendor may give you more leeway .0

Thanks for your reply. I understand this. I just wanted to know what everyone thought was a reasonable time to wait for a software update before I call them back (I called them back a few days after my first complaint and they said to be patient, I can be patient but only to a point). 'Throwing my toys' was a figure of speech and was intended as a bit of a joke, sorry.0
