Santander credit card
Can you continue to have a Santander credit card if you close down your Santander current account? If so, could the current D.D for the card be moved to the new bank account and keep paying the card bill each month. I have looked through the t&c and can’t see anything but I could have missed something.

Plenty. Most credit cards are not dependent upon the existence of a current account.
Some, like my Nationwide Select credit card do.
I kept my Santander credit card when I closed my Santander current account, and simply created a DD with my replacement current account provider.
