Help, Any motorcycle insurer who would accept NCB last used over 4 years?
I have many years riding experience, but have been unable to own and insure a motorcycle since 2016. My last NCB (2 years) is from Jul 2016.
Have tried several companies directly including Adrian Flux, but no joy having any of them accepting this NCB.
It only a two years NCB, but making a material £300 difference on quotes, plus that I would like to avoid resetting to 0. Any hints for a niche insurer that would look into this case?
Thanks

Massively unlikely.
General industry standard is that NCB "lives" for two years between policies.
A little bit over that? Possible.
Twice that...? Good luck, you're going to need it!0 -
Two years is the industry standard and a tiny number accept 3 but never heard of any accepting 4.
What have you been doing for the last 4 years? Not riding at all? Some offer an introductory discount that is worth close to a 1 year NCD if you meet the criteria such as having had no claims/incidents in the last 3-5 years etc0 -
£300 difference? What bike are you trying to insure?0
