The Fannacy Policy-
Returns (if applicable) We accept return of products. Customers have the right to apply for a return within 14 days after the receipt of the product. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or our transit station.Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you a notification of receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
(Are these policy's legal ? )
The Story.
My wife purchased a pair of boots from Fannacy.com, the boots arrived not looking or fitting description as displayed on there Facebook page. She contacted Fannacy for a return explaining all the faults and how unsatisfied she is with the quality. She has been sent emails asking questions i.e ( have we sent the right item / size ) about the boots which she replied to receiving emails back saying we do not support a returns at this time. When we looked for the returns policy, there was no mention of your statutory rights.
We have also found a number of online complaints like ours with most people giving up.

Where are fannacy.com based? I can't see if they're a UK company.
melancholy24.com" which rings alarm bells. Surely it should be @fannacy.com.
If they're based in the UK, you'd be covered under consumer law as they weren't as described (and, especially if they're not worn, simply as a simple return). If they're not UK based, you're pretty stuck.1 -
Says governed by UK law in T&Cs but I'd guess they are a template from the website host.
I've only had a quick look but I can't see an address, VAT or company number on the site.
Have they given you any of these details in the emails from the order or a return address when you contacted them?In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
Looking at someone's complaint on Trustpilot, they say a response from Fannacy.com said "But we do not include the shipping cost you return to China."
So looks like they're China-based.
Sadly, anyone can start a website and sell into the UK. It's up to us to do the due diligence and ensure we're buying from a reputable dealer (age old saying - if it's too good to be true...).
You could try a chargeback if you paid by credit card, but if not, there's nothing you can do (which Fannacy.com know).1 -
Loads of things that would give this site away as dodgy, or not UK based. The lack of any company address for one should always be looked at as a warning. Also they don't even have a matching email domain for their company site. Chargeback is probably you're only solution.1

The website doesnt comply with UK legislation and looking at the details of the domain its been registered using a Chinese registrar.
How much were the items? How was it paid for (debit card, credit card etc)?
Your best chances are going to be based on your payment methodology given they are almost certainly a non-UK entity but state the sale is governed by UK law1 -
( Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or our transit station.)transit station typical from Chinese sites .1

This is another dodgy facebook advert thread, quote- 'My wife purchased a pair of boots from Fannacy.com, the boots arrived not looking or fitting description as displayed on there Facebook page'.
OP, I would be extremely cautious about returning anything , getting goods back and accepted to the Far east is notoriously difficult.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Delete your ex wife's Facebook profile. You can use a decent solicitor to do this. Not the answer you were looking for, but in your future interest, possibly the best you can do!1

Although they would be looking at "Not as described" which requires proof of what was ordered, against what was received.
So screen grab of webpage showing item & then pics of what was received.
Always amazes me how it costs so little to send from China, but costs so much to send back....Life in the slow lane1 -
I don't think the company cares. They have the money and there's nothing any customer can do to get a refund.
Once there's too many bad reviews, they'll just re-brand the site and wait for the next bunch of "customers".1
