Okay thanks. I dont really think the uc people know what to do tbf. Trouble is it will happen twice a year as they sell my shares to cover the tax every March and October:-(

If the shares are available to you to sell, but you choose not to, they will be classed as capital. Any in a sharesave scheme which hasn't yet matured and are therefore not accessible for sale should not be classed as capital.0
