It's also disconcerting that looking on the probate website, I can see cases who died after my mother where probate has been granted.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

I’m still waiting too and I can get no update other than there is a queue at Manchester where mine has been sent and currently they are working on ones that arrived in the first week of September.
I knew mine would have to go to Manchester and followed all their instructions to the letter, providing everything asked for. I then waited the eight weeks before phoning and phone every two weeks now. The last call they said it had been sent to Birmingham instead of Manchester and clearly had been put to one side as Birmingham weren’t sure what to do with it. So it now joins the back of a very long queue!!
It’s so frustrating as the first person I spoke to admitted everything was there and said she was sending an email to tell them it should just be straightforward (she was typing as we spoke) - clearly they read emails in order too or ignore them!1 -
Thanks, sorry to hear you are going through that as well. Sounds like we are talking to the same person on the phone🤬.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

My Co Executor and I are still waiting since May. Home-made will so witnesses contacted in June. Probate don't answer emails or letters and we know the case is in Manchester where all all 'different' will reside. I fear we will never see my mother's estate. We have complained, got a whitewash letter. So now have asked for a review but that was back in the first week of October and we never even got a reply to our request. "Someone wil phone you back" phone calls went unheeded and no-one ever called back twice. Do we now go to the MP or Ombudsman? Enough is enough.
