Extended warranty

I've been paying extended warranty on whirlpool tumble dryer for 18 yrs (yes I know I've been stupid 😑)
I've been having problems & an engineer has been out & condemned it, as its part of the whirlpool recall so I've a new dryer coming FOC but my question is
The recall on whirlpool/hotpoint has been on going for 4yrs now & I've been paying extended warranty for all those years I am due a refund on the warranty I've been paying on a recalled product ??

18 years?? How much have you paid in that time?
No, I'm afraid I can't see you are due a refund. No harm in asking for it of course, but you've had the benefit of the warranty for that period. Like most insurance, you hope it will be a waste of money.1 -
18 years good god.......what other items have you got with extended warranties
