Received two SCS Law Letters for multiple PCNs - Euro Car Parks Ltd - Morrison's (Now closed)

I received two letters from SCS Law, one with a single claim of £145 and the other contains five claims of £145 each. These charges include an additional £60 fee each for some unknown reason so all six claims total £870!
I am a stroke survivor which has left me a little slow in thought as well as physically but I always did my best to get my shopping done and get out on time. I cannot remember the specific details but it was always a busy supermarket and on many of the occasions I shopped there I would only just get out before the two-hour limit, sometimes over it.
Due to the above it is VITAL that you write to SCS Law and cite disability discrimination under the Equality Act 2010.
Guess what - someone who takes a little longer to shop due to being a stroke survivor, is LEGALLY entitled to a 'reasonable adjustment' of more time. You need to reply robustly and demand the charges are cancelled and that you will be complaining about Euro Car Parks conduct to the retail park Management who are jointly and severally liable for indirect discrimination. And if they fail to cancel and add your VRM to the retail park's exempt list, going forward, the indirect discrimination will be compounded by direct discrimination, now they know about your medical needs and that you meet the definition of disability under the EA 2010. State that this is what is wrong with relying upon ANPR remote cameras in retail car parks and signs that do not offer people with medical conditions any information about how to ask for more time, as is their legal right.
Give SCS Law seven days to revert to their client and cancel all charges and to confirm that your VRM is now immediately added to the site exempt list, so that you are not unfairly time-limited when shopping and that no more PCNs are issued. Also, tell them you insist that your old address used is erased immediately because the letters have been sent to the wrong address (give them the right address).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And I, like many others over the years, appreciate all the dedicated, hard work you and your fellow advisors have put in but please be aware there is so much information that someone like me with a poor education and a stroke survivor with poor cognitive skills, having read the Newbies thread several times over, find it overwhelming and stressful.Coupon-mad said:This is all new to me and have no idea what forms I should expect or when to complete them.Luckily, when you read it properly, you'll find the NEWBIES thread post #2 has a section 'IMPORTANT - KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN' and it also explains about how to contact a PPC for a SAR (also asking the DPO to erase an old address).
Any acronyms you need explaining are in post #5 of the sticky. This saves us repeating ourselves, like Groundhog Day on here.
I did my best for twenty four hours to try to understand the information but was making myself ill forcing myself repeatedly to understand to the point I had no choice but to reach out for clarification.
However, I managed to find what I needed under the 'Small Claims?' heading and followed your excellent advice and sent a SAR to the DPO of the PPC followed by an email to their solicitors.
I assume now I have 30 days to look for similar defences to use as a template for my own defence?
Many thanks for your as always.4 -

I have sent a strongly worded email to SCS Law referencing all the points you made above. It's incredible, in all the years I have had to deal with these PCNs it never occurred to me to mention my medical condition.
I will update as soon as I receive a reply.
Thank you again.7 -
As well as following the excellent advice given above by @Coupon-mad, just find your V5C and check the address is where you live now. You do know that if you move you have to update driving licence and V5C separately. There is no other reason why the PCNs would go to a relative's address as the PPC would apply to the DVLA for the address of the registered Keeper, i.e. you.

Send a copy of the same complaint to the managing agents who run the Retail Park, or the CEO of the retail store, if it's a single shop there. YOU can find those contact details by Googling the Retail park or Supermarket name. They need to be aware of this complaint and that they are 'jointly and severally liable' for disability discrimination by relying upon remote ANPR cameras and making no provision for people with protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
Tell them they have seven days to tell ECP to cancel and to add your VRM to the store 'white list' so this never happens again.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The retail store was Morrisons supermarket but they closed down over six months ago and the building has remained empty since.
Is it still worth complaining to the CEO of Morrisons?
P.S. Should I still complain to my local MP too?
Many thanks2 -
Is it still worth complaining to the CEO of Morrisons?I would. I'm yet to see a complaint to Ms result in a refusal to help. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I asked because as Morrisons no longer trade at the car park in question the CEO has no incentive to get involved.
However, I guess the worse that can happen is the CEO ignores me.
Have a good weekend.3 -
the CEO has no incentive to get involved. They do, if you use the words I told you, because they need to know this fact:the retail park Management who are jointly and severally liable for indirect discrimination. When a company uses an agent, they are liable for the actions of that agent.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
