Closed accounts on credit file

Recently I moved into a property and decided to open up an account with the energy company which was left supplying the property. I actually found out that I could get cheaper rates of gas and electric from my old company so I changed my mind and I stuck with them. I phoned the old energy company already in the property and told them I had changed my mind and I was within my cooling off period anyway so within my rights to cancel. Anyway a few months later I realise that the old company had opened up two separate accounts one for gas one of electric with a balance of £0 with no history. I had already paid for all energy supplied by them but wondered if the closed accounts with a £0 balance and no payment history is actually negatively impacting on my credit file? The energy company in question is British Gas. I have asked them to remove this and they said they would, but it is still showing after 6 weeks later and they said it may take 2 weeks to rectify. Should I press them to remove it or not? Thanks

No, utterly pointless. Lenders dont see your made up score and lenders will fully appreciate people will move from utility to utility, the only issue lies when you dont pay a bill.1
