Yorkshire Banks Credit File Entry

Got a strange one for you. I closed a Yorkshire Bank current account in 2015 but a recent review of my credit files (Experian, Clear Score, Totally Money) shows the account still active and open with a £0 balance. I've contacted Yorkshire Bank and they have no accounts on record for me therefore, as far as they're concerned there's no account to report on. Given that the CRAs only report what they're fed by the banks etc I'm not sure where to go with it. Any ideas? I've queried the entries with all on the CRAs I'm registered with but can only assume they'll come back with a 'sorry but that's the info we've been given'. I'm trying to get my credit report as squeaky clean as possible ahead of a mortgage application next year and having an extra account on there that isn't open is something I want to avoid.

It won't cause you any problems, but if you're keen to remove it then submit a SAR to Yorkshire to see what turns up.
If nothing, dispute with the CRAs and have it removed.1 -
Good shout of the SAR! I'll get one sent, thanks.0
