Bath/Shower screen choices

Hello money saving experts!
We are having our bathroom re-fitted in 2 weeks and need to chose a shower screen.
The company we are buying the bathroom furniture from have suggested one where half is fixed and half folds in.
My other half is in charge of cleaning the bathroom and says this would be a pain as wouldn't give as much access to clean.
So, my question is, is a screen that fully opens outwards more likely to develop a leak than 1 that has a small fixed bit against the wall or doesn't it matter? I envisaged the one that folds back being better?
Thanks everyone  :)

I've had the second type , unless it's perfectly in line with the top of the bath it will leak. After a period of opening and closing the bottom seal started to wear and again it leaked

We had a fully opening one on a p-shaped bath and it never leaked and meant we didn't have to climb in the bath to clean it. The one issue we had was the shower head could be put at different angles and if it was too horizontal would soak the bathroom beyond the screen.
We found out later you can get screens which fold across the bath as well  to prevent this.

Yes, leaks are what I worry about as we've found out we've had a leak for years under the sink unit and shower screen.... this is what's prompted us to get a new bathroom and would hate to have the same issue :(
However, the manufacturer of these screens (Kudos) offers a lifetime warranty so I guess they are decent?  :)

We had the Kudos one with three folding leaves.

I loved it.  They click into place, so no leaks, great coverage across most of the length of the bath and fold inwards so no accidental soakings outside the bath either.  Give my son a chance and he'll
    flood anything!

I would get into the bath to clean it but had to get in to clean the shower walls anyway, plus we had a separate shower valve with rainfall and handheld on a rail.

    Great brand though.

Thanks for the info, really good to know it's a good brand!  :)
