CCJ still showing as active on credit file

Options
Looking for some advice if possible please,

I've sorted my finances out I've the last 12 months or so, most recently, I cleared an outstanding CCJ back in August, this now brings my total borrowing to £0,  however, this is still showing as active rather than satisfied on my credit reports, is there anything I need to do to update this?
I have emailed the creditor who as the time confirmed in writing the CCJ is settled and should reflect on my report but they are yet to respond.

Thanks in advance

  • Not sure what you mean by you emailed them and say it should reflect on your report but they're yet to respond?

Either way, if they don't update the courts, it won't ever show as satisfied (until it drops off of course."

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/866803/n443-eng.pdf is a form to request it be marked as satisfied (costs £15 though)

Sorry, I meant that I’ve emailed them again recently after paying the balance  to
Question why it is still showing as active on my report - I have attached the confirmation at the time of paying which confirms it should be updated.

It is worth paying the £15 to update or just wait the 2 1/2 years until it drops off my file?
    Thanks again

Up to you really.  I'd do it for the sake of £15 but that's just me.
