A cursory glance over the last 2-3 pages of this very board shows the following recent or ongoing offers:

Lloyds
Metro Bank
RBS
Natwest
Ulster
HSBC

There my be others? Edit: Indeed there is...Virgin.

OP can I suggest that you might consider getting (and of course reading) the weekly MSE email and then you won't miss the news about switching offers.  There have been quite a lot recently!

Thanks, it seems like I'm very out of the loop this year.

I look forward to having a second stab at retirement in a few years, and I'll then have plenty of time to milk the system for fun (assuming we're not all paying for bank accounts by then). 

But for now I've just done the Natwest one to keep my eye in...
