RYANAIR REFUND V VOUCHER

In April this year I had a return flight Malta to Liverpool cancelled by Ryanair , I elected for a refund , I think twice , however eventually I was wore down and opted for a voucher . I subsequently booked the same flight for Christmas holidays using the voucher and made up the balance with a card payment , the return flight date was put back from 31st December to 1st January and Ryanair  offered me a refund or voucher , I opted for the refund again which this time  was returned to the card I had paid with but only the card payment ,  it seems the voucher used had been written off and would not be refunded . I had no inkling this would happen and wonder if anybody else has experienced this .

Are you sure they haven't refunded the voucher part as a voucher, or as travel credit? Have you checked on your Ryanair account?

I would think the same as well.

When you say “it seems the voucher used had been written off and would not be refunded” have you actually asked RyanAir?

Thanks for the responses , there is no credit in my Ryanair account and the email I received acknowledges the refund request , it will be refunded onto card used etc and at the bottom it states the vouvher used has now been voided and cannot be used .

Emailed Ryanair about this and I hope to get a reply within 10 days
