1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN        In order to be eligible to win, entrants must go online to kissfmuk.com and tell us the following details: 

 

1.         Full name and contact details

2.         Who they would like to nominate to receive a Christmas present and why

3.         Which Christmas Present both themselves and their nominated person would like, up to the value of £500 each

 

Entries will be judged on how entertaining, compelling, heart-warming and how deserving the entry is. All entries will be judged by the KISS production team, the production manager and an independent judge.

 

We will be shortlisting entries the day of each competition round at 12noon that day.

 

On shortlisting, we will require the nominators to coherently explain their entry and discuss the nomination. The entry must be compelling and match the entry that was entered online. The nominators will need to explain in detail the reason why their nominated person deserves a present. On being called during the entry period does not mean that the entrant has won, and they will only win on being told they are the winner* by the presenter on air.

 

All nominators will be called ahead the competition segment being recorded.  If the chosen finalist is unavailable when we come to call them, a backup finalist will be chosen in their place and the original finalist may miss out on winning.

 

Each day from 23rd November – 27th November 5 winners will be brought to air, 1 per day, and awarded the prize.

 

 

2.ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS

Online entry is free.

 

3. DATES       Start Date and End Date. Pre-registration: from 18/11/2020 at 00.01 (Start Date) to 27/11/2020 at 12:00 (End Date).

 

The on-air portions of this comp will take place each day from 23/11/2020 until 27/11/2020, between 4pm and 7pm. The finalists will be given information of when the exact timings will be ahead of being brought to air.

 

The winner of the competition will be announced on-air during each competition round.

 

Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date will be invalid.

 

 

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

•           Open to UK residents

 

•           Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.

 

 

5. THE PRIZE            The following prizes will be awarded during the competition:

 

Each entrant will win 1 x prize for themselves and 1 x prize for their nominated person. Each prize must have a maximum value of £500. The prize must be selected at time of entry. 

 

All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered.

 

 

OTHER CONDITIONS

 

1.         DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 2.         INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

3.         MISCELLANEOUS.

a.         Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b.         Entrants may not enter more than once.

c.         If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d.         We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

e.         You are responsible for all costs of entry.

f.          You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

g.         Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

h.         As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.

i.          We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
