It’s natural for people to seek advice from others with similar experiences before paying for legal advice. My original thread was to reach out to anyone that has experienced a similar situation.

I didn’t work with any cowboys. I did seek legal advice though, I paid £499 and handed the matter over. They dealt with the whole situation and kept my in the email trail so that I could follow the case. A huge bargain (time and money) for someone that works 70+ hours a week in the hospital.
Who did you get legal advice from?  £499 to draft a consent order that the claimant had already agreed to? I'd say they're cowboys.
Did you read the initial post? The claimant rejected the initial consent order.
    I did, did you?

    Here you go...
The claimant has responded to me via email and told me that they have no issue with the CCJ being removed and advised that I seek legal assistance with getting this done, I presume they mean to draft formal consent order.

Claimant being the loan company. When they referred me to their legal team they responded with a rejection and informed to to seek legal advice.
And what was the offer?  Agree to the consent order and I'll pay the debt?

Exactly that but unfortunately it took seeking and paying for legal advice to negotiate. Now I don’t have to spend another four years with a CCJ on my file, pretty good outcome for £499.

Bottom line is that it worked and I want others in a similar situation to be aware of that.
