Affordable shower panels.

Hi all.
Will be redoing my shower cubicle soon to make it a bit larger - aiming for 1m x 0.76m. I'm considering using wall panels instead of tiling again, not just for convenience but because I also like the look of these having viewed them in a local showroom.
An important feature of them, tho', is surface texture - this seems to be the biggest issue when it comes to it looking half-decent. The one I viewed was Graphite Elements by Multipanel, and it both felt and looked good - nice solid boards with an attractive texture. Not too bad at around £160 for a single panel either.
But... any other alternatives out there? I was ideally after a slate finish, but it, too, would need to have some 'riven' texture to it.
Thanks.
(Yes, I looked at Mermaid and nearly had apoplexy with a ~£900 quote for two panels. This is on the other spectrum of cost: https://easypanels.co.uk/product/light-concrete-shower-panel/ Whilst I am wary of PVC panels as potentially looking and feeling very cheap, this does at least claim to have a texture. Has anyone seen or used them?)

I can't comment on the quality, but I naively would have thought that a product advertised as "Light concrete shower panel" would be made of "light concrete", not uPVC - but I guess this one has survived Trade Descriptions!

I've sent off for a few samples from various suppliers, and will report back.0
