Double Glazing Quote

Hi all,
I'm a first time buyer and am looking at having my windows replaced as they seem to be very old. We've had a quote for a bay window, kitchen window and main entrance door at £3600. With French Doors and two other smallish windows added in, the fee was £5900. Are these reasonable prices? I am getting other companies in to have a look but wanted to know whether this would be what we can expect from most suppliers?
I'd be very grateful for any feedback.

It sounds kind of very roughly the right ballpark. Bay windows tend to be quite a bit more expensive than "standard" windows, and a good quality, high-security door can cost the thick end of a grand by itself. If you Google for "Double glazing prices" you'll find any number of rough guides - here's just one by way of example: https://householdquotes.co.uk/how-much-does-upvc-double-glazing-cost/Costs will vary depending on where in the country you are, and things like the number of opening windows (as opposed to fixed glazing) will also affect the price.Absolutely get at least 3 quotes, preferably from local companies recommended by friends & neighbours (ask on your local community Facebook page for recommendations). They'll tend to be cheaper than the big companies who have to fund expensive advertising campaigns and flashy showrooms as well as making a big fat profit for their shareholders. If you get 3 quotes of similar sizes, you can be reasonably confident that they're all giving you a fair price. After all, they're all trying to be competitive whilst needing to make a reasonable but not outlandish profit.

You could try this for a supply only price.

Or this for a supply and fit.

From what I can see, supply and fit seems to be around 1.5 x the supply only price.
Both are online and don't require you to speak to anyone. Useful to get a ballpark number.1
